By accessing, installing or playing CHIP REVIVED (the "Game"), provided by Project Team For You ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment in accordance with these Terms. Except as permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute or create derivative works of the Game.
The Game may award stars, badges, visual themes and similar in-game items ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items:
The current version of the Game contains no advertising and sells nothing; there are no in-app purchases, and no part of the Game can be bought with money. If advertising or purchases are introduced in a future version, we will update these Terms and their version number beforehand. Progress through the Game will never be blocked behind a payment.
Global rankings must be fair. You agree not to use cheats, bots, scripts, modified clients, exploits or automated solvers to submit scores, and not to tamper with move records or times. Every score is verified by replaying its moves; we may remove any entry or nickname that breaks these Terms or is offensive, without notice.
You may choose a nickname for the rankings and create levels with the level editor and share them by link. Shared levels are stored only inside the link; we do not host them. You are responsible for the nicknames and levels you create and share, and you agree not to use them for content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights; depicts hate symbols or promotes violence, discrimination or harassment; is sexually explicit or otherwise harmful to minors; or impersonates another person. A drawing made of tiles can carry a symbol or message too, and this rule applies to it. We may replace offensive nicknames and remove ranking entries.
The Game's code, graphics, sounds, levels, characters (including the player character "Nova") and the name "CHIP REVIVED" belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. CHIP REVIVED is an original work inspired by the classic tile-puzzle genre; it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the owners of any other game. No rights are transferred to you except the licence in Section 2.
The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that locally stored progress will never be lost.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Game, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Game in the twelve months before the claim (the Game is currently free).
You may stop using the Game at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or act in a way that harms other players, us or third parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer protection that the laws of your country of residence give you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date and version number above. Continuing to use the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
