How to play CHIP REVIVED
CHIP REVIVED is a turn-based tile puzzle. You guide Nova, a small lab robot, across a grid of tiles. Every stage is a small logic problem: find the order of moves that collects what you need and reaches the exit without getting stuck.
The goal of every stage
Reach the exit tile. On most stages a gate blocks the way until you have collected every chip on the board — the counter at the top shows how many are left. Along the way you pick up keys, boots and other items that let you pass doors, water, fire, ice and force floors.
Nothing moves unless you move, so you can always stop and think. There is no time pressure in the campaign.
Controls
- Keyboard: arrow keys or WASD to move, Z to undo, R to restart.
- Phone and tablet: swipe in any direction, or use the on-screen arrows. Tap the magnifier to zoom between a close-up camera and the whole board.
- Undo takes back one move at a time — use it freely while you learn a stage.
Stars and the ◆ Master badge
Each cleared stage earns up to three stars:
- ★ Clear — reach the exit.
- ★ Efficient — finish within the par move count.
- ★ Perfect — no failed attempts and no hints.
The ◆ Master badge goes to runs that use the minimum possible number of moves without a single undo. Every level is checked by an automatic solver, so the minimum is known and always reachable.
Beginner tips
- Look at the whole board before your first move. Count chips, keys and doors.
- Keys are used up: one key opens one door of the same colour. Plan which door each key is for.
- Pushing a crate is permanent. If a crate ends up in a corner, undo or restart.
- Stuck for a while? The hint button shows the next steps of a solution (hinted runs are not ranked).
- Stars from the campaign unlock later worlds, so replaying for three stars pays off.
